Protected area
Protected area
Not all project materials should be public. Some documents require access control, change history, proper labelling and sharing only with authorised people.
The protected area describes the working model for project, technical and development materials that require access control and confidentiality rules.
What it is for
The protected area may include technical documents, project materials, development notes, concept descriptions, working files, change history, decision records and resources shared with selected partners.
Its purpose is to reduce chaos, uncontrolled file copying and accidental sharing outside the right context.
Access principles
Access should be based on roles, projects, cooperation scope and permission levels. Users see only materials linked to their role and project.
Entry via portal
Initial access to protected materials is through the partner portal after authorization. A separate Vault space may be offered in a later phase — with no promise of a public host on this page.
